Term 3 Wrap up

What a busy time the music department has had in Term 3. We started with the ‘Speak Percussion’ workshops and concert, then the series of Soirees and finished with the Spring Concert.

Spring Concert was a tremendous success, showcasing all the large school ensembles. It was exciting to hear the enormous progress the junior groups have made and to hear our young composers and arrangers works.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Unfortunately our instrumental music teachers are not available this term for conferences. Any parents/guardians who have a specific concern or would just like information on how their student is going,  please contact Kim Green or the specific teacher directly to arrange a time.  We are more than happy to have a chat.

John Smith

John Smith will be finishing up with us again at the end of this term. John retired a few years ago but has been kindly filling in when needed. He will be replaced by Sarah Caddie and James Newman in Term 4. We will miss John tremendously in the music department for not only his excellent teaching but also his keen sense of humour.

Holiday reminder
