5/6W

As Term 3 comes to an end, I would like to thank all of our wonderful 5/6W families for your support throughout such a busy and rewarding term. The students should be very proud of their efforts and the many learning experiences they have been part of over the past few weeks. We have lots to look forward to in Term 4, including exciting Inquiry experiences, Grade 5 leadership speeches, and the special milestone of Grade 6 Graduation. I hope everyone enjoys a safe, restful and well-deserved holiday break, and I look forward to a fantastic final term together.

Book Week

Last week, our school enjoyed a fantastic Book Week celebration filled with reading, creativity and community spirit. Students loved visiting the Book Fair, taking part in the Book Week Dress Up Parade and seeing the wonderful costumes on display. We also enjoyed a special choir performance, which was a lovely way to celebrate together as a school. It was great to welcome grandparents and special friends for morning tea and to share in the excitement of the week. Our Grade 6 students also spent time with their buddies, creating bookmarks together and enjoying a special chance to connect through books and creativity. It was a wonderful week celebrating stories, imagination, family and our school community.

Term 4 Mass

Our Term 4 Class Mass will be held during the first week back, on Tuesday 6 October. Families are warmly invited to join us for this special celebration and are very welcome to sit with their child during Mass. We would love to see you there as we come together to begin our final term of the year in prayer and community.

JPC Lightening Premiership

On the first Friday back next term, our Grade 5/6 students will take part in the Lightning Premiership Sports Day at John Paul College. Students will compete against other local schools in soccer and netball, giving them a great opportunity to show teamwork, sportsmanship and school spirit. A BBQ lunch will also be provided on the day, with students receiving one sausage in bread and a drink. Permission forms will be sent out before the end of term with further details.

Footy Colours Day

We had a fantastic time celebrating Footy Colours Day, with students proudly wearing the colours of their favourite teams. It was wonderful to see so many different jumpers, scarves and team colours around the school, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere. Days like this are a great chance for students to show their team spirit, enjoy a bit of friendly banter, and come together as a school community.
