English – Kensuke’s Kingdom

In English, students have now completed our class novel, Kensuke’s Kingdom. This engaging story captured the students’ interest from beginning to end, and many described it as a fantastic and memorable book. Throughout the unit, students explored key themes such as survival, friendship and resilience, while developing their comprehension and discussion skills.

To support your child’s learning at home, we encourage you to ask them about their reading. You might ask:

• What was your favourite part of the story?
• Which character did you like most and why?

• Can you give a summary of the book?

   

These conversations help reinforce understanding and allow students to reflect on their learning in a meaningful way.
