From the Principal's Desk

As we come to the end of what has been a very full (and very quick!) term, I would like to sincerely thank everyone for their support. It has been a great term across the school, and that is always a reflection of the partnership between our staff, students and families.
Our Stage 3 students headed off to the Leadership Camp at Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre on Monday and Tuesday this week. From all reports, it was a fantastic couple of days, with students challenging themselves, building independence and developing their leadership skills. A big thank you to Mrs Barclay and Mrs Wailes for giving up their time to take the students and make the experience possible.
We travelled to Holbrook for our cross-country. By the time you are reading this, it will all be done and dusted. I’m sure our students represented the school with plenty of effort, encouragement and good sportsmanship—these days are always a great way to come together as a community. It is also special to share this event with another school, and thank you to St Patrick’s Holbrook for organising the event. Next year, we will return to our cross-country event in Tumbarumba.
Today was a special (and busy) day. We came together for the Stations of the Cross, which is always a meaningful and reflective experience for our students as we continue our journey through Lent. Thank you to Mrs Middleton and Father Perry for organising and leading this, and to Mrs Barclay, Miss Ness and our Stage 3 students for the work that has gone into preparing and painting the Stations.
We also had a bit of fun with our Annual Easter Robot Races. Thank you to Mr Larose for organising and running the event. It is great to see the students of All Saints’ working together, coding and having a great time.
A big thank you as well to our parents and families for your generosity with donations, and for buying and selling tickets for the Easter raffle—your support never goes unnoticed and is always appreciated.
As we move into the holidays and celebrate Easter, it is a good time to pause and reflect on what this season means for us as Catholics. After the period of Lent, Easter reminds us of hope, renewal and new life through the resurrection of Jesus. It is a special time to come together with family, celebrate our faith and enjoy a well-earned break.
I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday and enjoys some quality time with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you all back next term.
God Bless,
Daniel Francis
Principal
