A Sweet Reminder

This week, staff celebrated World Chocolate Day, a fun occasion that gave us the chance to enjoy one of the world's favourite treats. It also served as a timely reminder that, amidst the busyness of school life, it is important to take opportunities to enjoy the simple things and spend time with those around us.

For students, this term has been a busy one. Between lessons, assignments, activities, and everyday challenges, it is easy to forget the importance of stepping away and taking a proper break. A short rest, a laugh with friends, a creative activity, or even enjoying a small treat can help refresh the mind and restore energy for learning in Term 3.

As the school holidays approach, this is the perfect time for families to slow down and reconnect. Rest does not always mean doing nothing; it can mean spending time together, sharing meals, exploring the outdoors, playing games, watching a favourite movie, or simply enjoying conversations without the rush of busy schedules.

For parents and students, the school holidays provide a valuable opportunity to recharge, reconnect, and create meaningful memories together. Whether it is sharing a favourite meal, enjoying a small chocolate treat, or simply spending quality time with loved ones, these moments help us appreciate life's simple joys. We hope everyone has a safe, restful, and enjoyable break and returns to school refreshed, motivated, and ready for a successful Term 3.
