Book Fair

What an incredible week we had at the Scholastic Book Fair! The library was buzzing with excited readers, and it was wonderful to see so many students visiting, exploring, and purchasing books. We even spotted a number of budding authors picking up diaries, ready to fill with new ideas and future bestsellers!

All books ordered during the fair have now been delivered to teachers. If you placed an online order, those items will either arrive at your home or be delivered to the school. We’ll let you know as soon as any school-delivered online orders arrive.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Book Fair. Thanks to your purchases, we’ve earned Scholastic points that will go towards adding even more new titles to our library shelves!

End of Borrowing

Important Library Dates

As we head towards the end of the year, a quick reminder that last week was the final week for borrowing. This ensures all students have their full two-week loan period, with all books due back by the end of Week 9 (Friday 5th December). 

End of year competition!  

The first class to get all their books back by end of Week 9 (both students and teacher) will get a reward! 

The library will be closed in Weeks 10 and 11 (Monday 8th - Friday 19th December) for our annual stocktake, organisation, and preparation for the new year, so it’s important that all books are returned during Week 9 (Monday 1st - Friday 5th December). Notices will be sent home to help families keep track of what’s still out.

Please note: lost or unreturned books will receive a replacement notice, as these items need to be purchased again for our collection.

So, start the treasure hunt! Check under beds, in bookshelves, siblings’ rooms, school bags, and even the car. Let’s work together to get every book back. I know we can do it!
