Year 10 outdoor education aquatics camp

Our year 10 outdoor education classes experienced our aquatics camps at the Murraylands Aquatic Centre. 

The weather was very hot, so it was good to get involved in knee boarding, water-skiing, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing and wind surfing. 

Students cooked their night meal on Trangia, which are traditional Swedish outdoor stove, and camped over-night in tents. Students collaborated well in activity groups and as whole groups, showing independence, self-reliance and helping each other out as required. 

There was many smiles and laughs, friendships made and consolidated and new skills learnt.
