Celebrating Luca's cycling achievements
Congratulations to Luca P, a year 11 student, who is making strides in the world of cycling through his training with the SASI Cycling Program. Luca recently competed in the Oceania Championships in February and will also participate in the Track National Championships from 26–30 March in Brisbane.
His dedication and hard work have been evident, with a rigorous training schedule four out of five days each week. Depending on his performance in these competitions, Luca may be selected for the Junior World Championships in August, a testament to his talent and commitment.
We wish Luca the best of luck as he continues to pursue his cycling dreams.
The APHS House Cup Returns for 2025
Now in its third year, our House Cup continues to celebrate the incredible achievements of our students! Points are awarded for demonstrating our school values—Respect, Care and Compassion, and Honesty. Students can also earn house points for as academic excellence and participation in extra-curricular activities.
Students can track their house’s progress live on Daymap. When teachers allocate points, parents may receive a notification showcasing the amazing work their child is doing in class.
Yarta (Green) has claimed victory for the past two years—can they make it three in a row, or will another house rise to the challenge?
Good luck to
Yarta - green
Karla - red
Yarlu - blue
Trintu - yellow
May the best house win!
