Year 12 retreat 2025 – a memorable start to the final year
This year saw a new initiative of our first ever year 12 retreat and what a fantastic day it was. Students participated in a range of activities, including an Amazing Race, where they competed in their Houses to earn valuable House Cup points.
They took part in a Mindful Photography session focused on wellbeing and supporting an opportunity to disengage from their stress. They worked in Care Groups to set personal and academic goals for the year ahead.
After a shared lunch, students had the privilege of hearing from guest speaker Jack Annear, who shared an inspiring story on resilience building. The retreat was a great opportunity for students to connect with their peers and teachers, build lasting memories, and start their final year at APHS with fun and friendly competition.
It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm and engagement from all students who attended, with their unique strengths shining through in every activity.
What a way to kick off year 12.
