Lumen Day Teacher Tealight Awards

The Teacher Tealight Awards are a student-voted annual tradition handed out on Lumen Day. Each year, different categories are made and presented to the whole school to nominate and vote for teachers in each category. This year, the categories and winners were:

• Most Consistent Wardrobe - Mr Boyer
• Best Cartoon Character Lookalike - Mr Oversby (Phineas from Phineas and Ferb)
• Most Likely to be Tiktok Famous - Ms McShane
• Best Dad Jokes - Mr Rosevear
• Best Mentor Teacher - Jerome
• Most Likely to Appear on a Reality TV Show - Mr MacDonald (The Amazing Race)
• Happiest Teacher - Mr Van Reeken
• Funniest Department - Maths Department (represented by Mr Davies)

The Prefects interviewed the winners, asking various questions about them, such as their favourite movies, favourite thing about Lumen, and what other subject they would teach.
