Feedback and Complaints

At Lumen Christi College, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and responsive learning environment for all students and families. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve communication and transparency, we have recently reviewed our Feedback and Complaints Procedures. This revised approach continues to ensure that concerns are addressed promptly, fairly, and with the appropriate level of care.
The updated information is available on the College Website, and we encourage parents to familiarise themselves with the avenues available to them to raise concerns.
In short, if a concern arises, we encourage parents to contact the staff member most closely connected to the issue either via email, phone or through the feedback form available on the College website. The table below may help you determine the most appropriate person to contact, which is usually the class or homeroom teacher. If the issue remains unresolved, please request it be escalated to a middle or senior leader.
If your concern relates to the safety or wellbeing of a child, it is essential that you raise it immediately with the Principal or Deputy Principal via the form on our College website or by phoning reception on 9394 9300. These matters are treated with the utmost seriousness and confidentiality. The College follows strict protocols in line with CEWA’s Child Safe Framework and mandatory reporting obligations.
We understand that, on occasion, raising concerns can be a sensitive and emotional experience. However, we ask all parents and guardians to be mindful of our Code of Conduct and engage in the complaints process respectfully and constructively. We strive to ensure your right to be heard and your right to an impartial decision is upheld at all times.
