Mobile Phone Policy

School Council ratified amendments to the SGPS Mobile Phone policy on Monday night. This policy has been developed in accordance with the DET Mobile Phones Policy.

The key change to this policy relates to students now being required to hand their phone or smart watch in at the office upon arrival at school. This requirement relates to any device that has internet connectivity capability of the capacity to capture images or footage. This change is an important measure to ensure the safety and privacy of everyone at school. Please take the time to read this policy and feel free to contact Francis or myself if you need anything clarified.
