From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,

I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the vibrancy of the season. As we reflect on recent events and look forward to upcoming holidays, I am pleased to share some highlights from the past fortnight.

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Middleton for her exceptional organisation of our recent Athletics Carnival. Her dedication and tireless efforts ensured that the day was filled with excitement, sportsmanship, and memorable moments for our students. I also wish to express gratitude to our staff  and parents whose support and commitment contributed to the success of this event. By all accounts it was a wonderful day and sadly I was unable to attend due to prior commitments.

As we recently observed the Easter weekend, it offered a valuable opportunity for reflection and celebration of the profound significance of this season. I hope it was a time of joy, renewal, and connection for you and your loved ones. I also hope you enjoyed the extra long weekend!

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting the David Enever concert, a delightful musical experience that brought joy and inspiration to our school community. Events like these enrich our students' cultural experiences and foster a love for the arts.

Last Thursday, we had a moving Stations of the Cross service led by Father Brancik. I'm particularly proud to highlight the contributions of the 4.5.6L class, whose student-made stations added a unique and meaningful touch to the experience.

Also on Thursday, we hosted our annual Easter Egg Robot Races, where students showcased their creativity and ingenuity by designing and coding LEGO WeDo robots to carry Easter eggs. It was a fantastic display of teamwork, problem-solving, and technological prowess. A big thank you to Mr Larose and staff for organising the event and the stations of the cross.

Last Wednesday, we were honoured to host Director Andrew Watson and the Leadership Team from CEDWW. Their visit provided an opportunity to showcase the exceptional work and achievements of our school community, and I'm proud to say that our students and staff rose to the occasion with enthusiasm and grace.

As we continue on our journey of learning and growth, I encourage you to remain engaged and involved in the life of our school. Your support and participation are invaluable in creating a nurturing and enriching environment for our students.

Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children. Together, let us continue to inspire excellence and cultivate a community where every individual can flourish.

God Bless,

Daniel Francis
