Athletics Carnival

Wow, what an amazing Athletics Carnival! Thank you to all of the parents who came down to lend a hand. There is no way that we could have run it without you! The behaviour and attitude of all of the competitors was impeccable. It was great to see so many children participate in all of the running races and with such tremendous enthusiasm. It was a credit to all involved that we were able to finish the carnival with minutes to spare. 

At the end of the day, many children came home with ribbons to show for their efforts, however, there would have been more children that competed in every event and were not awarded any ribbons. These children were a delight to watch as the smiles never left their faces. We saw a few tears when children landed awkwardly on the high jump pole, but they bravely shrugged off their injury ready for the next event. 

In the end, Cahill Kreckler won the student relay and scored the most points on the day. Well done to a great team effort.

Thank you to Mrs Middleton for your organisation of yet another successful sporting event.
