Giving Day

Giving Day is almost here - Tuesday 16 June 2026
Next Tuesday our community will give, support and help Clayfield College students to let their light shine as we come together for our Clayfield College Foundation Giving Day.
The power of Giving Day is experienced not only through the generosity shown on the day, but in the impact of what happens NEXT.
Over the past few years, funds raised through Giving Day have been directly invested back into the life of the College, enhancing our campus through refurbishments and new developments, providing access to education through scholarships and bursaries and enriching the student experience through programs such as Opportunities for Excellence, including support for On the Green.
Our Science Laboratories, Black Box studio, Boarding House Kitchen and Dining Room, Cardio Room, Strength and Conditioning Room, Audio Visual Projects, Digital Scoreboard, Mountain Bike Trailer and Bikes and the recently opened Foundation Courtyard have all been funded by donations made on past Giving Days, and are now enjoyed by our current students.
Each year, I am reminded of the extraordinary power and generosity of our community and once again, with your help, we can reach our ambitious goal of 500+ donors in 12 hours and continue to deliver experiences, opportunities and learning spaces that shape student minds and futures.
All members of our community are invited to be part of making NEXT possible by
- Donating online:
- You can choose to direct your gift to the Building Fund or the Scholarships and Bursaries Fund. Your contribution, of any size, will make a meaningful impact. All online donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
- Joining the buzz on campus:
- We’ll be hosting a Giving Hub in Room 4 (Clayfield College Boardroom), where volunteers will connect with our community and rally support. If you can help on the day, please reach out to Meg Graham, Foundation and Alumni Manager, via mgraham@clayfield.qld.edu.au or 07 3262 0292.
- Encouraging our Student Giving Stars:
- During Giving Day, students can get involved at our Giving Station in the Chapel Courtyard by bringing cash donations to their House lock boxes. As a thank you, they’ll receive a starshaped chocolate and add a star sticker to their House Constellation. Combined with online donations, this will decide the House Spirit Champion – the House with the most donors will enjoy a Pizza Party on Arts Day!
Double Your Impact on Giving Day
Thanks to our generous Matching Donors, every donation will be doubled on the day, ensuring twice the impact for our Clayfield students!
That means:
- $10 becomes $20
- $100 becomes $200
- $500 becomes $1,000
- $1,000 becomes $2,000
It is this immediacy of impact that makes Giving Day so special, as every gift, big or small, helps us move closer to the NEXT milestone in Clayfield’s story.
Be part of what comes NEXT and let’s shine together.

Principal
