Fish Fill-It Visits St Mary’s!

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Mornington Peninsula Shire to help raise awareness about the impact of plastic waste on our environment. As part of this shared commitment to sustainability, we currently have the ‘Fish Fill-It’ public art sculpture on display at St Mary’s.

 

‘Fish Fill-It’ is a special snapper who loves to gobble up plastic! He is a local, who lives and breeds in Western Port Bay, which makes his message even more meaningful to our community.

 

Through our Permaculture lessons and sustainability actions, students are learning how we can reduce waste in our school and the ways we can care for our common home. This engaging sculpture will help spark conversations, inspire action and remind us that every small change makes a difference.
