🌟 National Science Week 🌟

We are excited to celebrate National Science Week this term at St Mary’s, and there is a real buzz of curiosity and discovery in our classrooms!

This term’s Inquiry focus is Chemical Science, and all year levels have been diving into hands-on investigations and experiments that explore how materials change, combine, and react. From bubbling mixtures to curious compounds, our young scientists have been developing their questioning, predicting, observing and recording skills — all while having plenty of messy, meaningful fun!

In a couple of weeks, we’ll be launching a Whole School Science Mystery, where students will become junior detectives, working together in House Teams to solve a case using the scientific skills they've been building all term. It’s a fantastic way for learners across all year levels to apply their knowledge in a real-world (and slightly mysterious!) context.
