Business Name: Olive Groves, Cobram Estate

Structured Workplace Learning Venue: Boort

What You Learn

During my placement, I am learning many things about being a diesel mechanic. I’ve been able to work on lots of different machinery such as Olive Harvesters, Tractors, ATVs and Utes. We do oil changes and services on these machines when they’re due and fix anything that gets broken on them. Sometimes we will have to go on a callout where we have to go out on site to fix the broken machinery.

Words of Appreciation:

I would like to thank Boort Olive Grove for supporting students through Structured Workplace Learning.

During this placement I have learnt a variety about diesel mechanics and other areas throughout the workshop.

The staff are helpful, they assisted me when needed.

This experience helps me improve my skills and knowledge on diesel mechanics.
