House Athletic Sports

What a fantastic and highly competitive day we enjoyed at this year's House Athletics Sports. It was one of the closest contests we have ever seen, with Jacka emerging victorious in both the Primary and Secondary competitions, bringing the overall yearly tally to an exciting 2–2.

In the Secondary competition, Ansett finished on 842 points, with Jacka narrowly taking the win on 851 points. The Primary competition was equally close, with Ansett scoring 11.31 points and Jacka finishing on 11.92 points.

With just one event remaining on the calendar—the Reading Olympics—the stage is set for an exciting conclusion to the year.

A huge thank you to our staff, families, and wider school community for coming along to support our students. The atmosphere at events like these is always a highlight and contributes greatly to the success of the day. We would also like to acknowledge and thank the students who assisted with the running of various events throughout the day.

We would like to give special recognition to:

Kylie and Danny for running the BBQ
Mr G, Mrs Postle, and Joan for their assistance in the lead-up to the event and on the day
Cass and Jess for generously working an extra day to support the event

Finally, congratulations to the following students on their outstanding individual achievements. Your hard work, determination, and sportsmanship were wonderful to see, and you should all be incredibly proud of your efforts.
