P & C Hurstville Public School

Made with Love for HPS 150 Years ❤️

We are excited to share, that thanks to the incredible support of our school and local community, the P&C raised almost $6,000 at the 150th Anniversary Community Fair.

A massive thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket, grabbed a treat, or picked up a handmade item. We are also deeply grateful to the generous local businesses who donated fantastic prizes to our raffle.

What made our P&C stalls so special was just how much was made by hand. Parents and grandparents spent countless hours baking, cooking, and crafting for the stalls. Behind every cake, traditional treat, and handmade piece was so much time, effort, and a real love for our school community during this big milestone.

We would especially like to thank the parents and families of:

A particularly heartfelt thank you goes to the grandmother of Lucas Xie (KA), who handmade traditional Chinese pastries for the fair. More than just delicious treats, they shared a special piece of family heritage with us, reflecting the wonderful cultural diversity of our HPS community.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to the family of Christopher Ju (4S) for generously providing two electronic pianos for our anniversary performances.

For 150 years, Hurstville Public School has been shaped not only by its teachers and students, but by generations of families giving their time, skills, and support. Thank you for adding your own piece to our school’s 150-year story.

Made by hand, given from the heart — for 150 years of HPS.
