Athletics Carnival

On Tuesday 5 May, we held our Athletics carnival. There was a great turn out once again which made an amazing atmosphere throughout the day. A huge thankyou to all those who attended, cheered, dressed up and participated on the track or field events and strived for their personal best. 

8 Records were broken on the day:

• Isla J - 14 yr 800m (2:28.75). Old record: Sayaka T (2:31.30 - 1995) 
• Isla J - 14 yr 1500m (5:12.20). Old record: Chloe L (5:18.07 - 2025)
• Fraser G - 15 yr 1500 m (4:47.07). Old record Brett K (4:47.17 - 1994)
• Christian L - 16 yr 100m (11.08). Old record Jayden B (11.35 - 2013)
• Kate T - 17 yr Shot Put (9.23). Old record Hannah C (8.58 - 2018) 
• Berlin B - 17yr 1500m (6:35.54). Old record Rebecca M (6:39.06 - 2011)
• Alexander Z - 20yr 100m (11.18). Old record Brent G (11.19 - 2018)

Congratulations to Tilly and Leiyck, who ended up holding the trophy aloft for Kalinda House who were the overall winners on the day. 

All winners will progress to the Maroondah Division Athletics carnival will be held in Term 3 – Tuesday 1st September.

Students who have successfully qualified will receive details via compass closer to the date.
