Science in 3/4

In Term 4 (in Science), we’ve been learning about life cycles. This week we dissected flowers and used microscopes to look at the flowers closer. We had lots of fun and the teachers sneezed their heads off! Last week the whole of the Brady building went out to take field notes about animals and insects that we saw outside. We wrote what we saw and anything that was interesting about them. We also did a sketch of the organism that we chose and we had to research what our organisms ate and what ate our organisms.
On Monday, we looked at tomato plants and then we watched a BTN video about tomato plants. We got a worksheet that was about a tomato plant trouble and we had to organise the stages of a tomato plant life cycle.
We're looking forward to learning more about life cycles of the term!
