First Aid News

Hay fever
With Hay fever season in full swing and notably high pollen alerts, we have seen an increase in students attending First Aid with Hay fever & allergy related symptoms.
If your child suffers from hay fever, we kindly encourage parents and carers to ensure they have taken their usual hay fever medication, as directed, before arriving at school.
This will help keep students comfortable and ready to learn throughout the day.
The Victorian grass pollen and epidemic thunderstorm asthma season runs annually from October 1 to December 31, with official risk forecasts managed by the Victorian Department of Health.

Medication Policy Reminder
We kindly ask all families to review the attached MRPS Medication Policy.
As a reminder, all medication must be supplied directly to Administration Staff by a parent, guardian, or trusted adult. Students are not permitted to transport or hand in medication to the school.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us ensure the safe management of medication at MRPS.
Spare Uniform
Things happen, and when they do, we support our students to feel comfortable and return to class. We kindly ask that if spare uniform is provided to help support your child, that it is washed and returned in a timely manner so we may continue supporting more students.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
