Footsteps

What a spectacular day it was for our 1/2 students as they took to the stage for our much-anticipated school production, “Step into the Spotlight” Weeks of dedication and practise came to life as our talented young performers showcased their amazing routines - “Sky Full of Stars,” “Ting Tang,” “The Spark,” and “LaLaLa.”

Under the bright lights, our students danced, sang, and smiled their hearts out, bringing so much joy to everyone in the audience. The energy and enthusiasm were contagious! It was truly a celebration of creativity and teamwork!

A huge thank you to our wonderful parents for helping with costumes and for showing up in full support on the day. Your encouragement means the world to our students and staff.

We are incredibly proud of our little stars, what a shining example of hard work and school spirit!

Maths

This term, our focus has been on developing students’ understanding of money, including identifying different coins, and calculating change accurately. Through a variety of engaging and hands-on activities, students have strengthened their numeracy skills while gaining confidence in handling real-world problems. This encouraged problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills, helping students see the practical applications of mathematics in everyday life.

To bring their learning to life, students designed and set up their own shops and incorporated their knowledge of persuasive text. It was a lively Market Day, where they had the opportunity to role-play as both shopkeepers and customers, reinforcing their money skills but also promoting teamwork, creativity, and communication. It was a wonderful celebration of their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the term.
