Dear Parents and Carers,

With the Year 10 Camp fast approaching, we would like to provide some important information regarding student medications during camp.

To help ensure that medication administration is as safe, efficient, and well-organized as possible, we kindly ask that you consider having your child's medications packed by your local pharmacy.

Pharmacy-packed medications are much easier for staff to manage and transport during camp activities and significantly reduce the risk of medication errors. To assist with this process, we have attached medication packing order forms for our local TerryWhite Chemmart and Amcal pharmacies. For families who are not local to Leongatha, most pharmacies can provide this service with a few days' notice, usually for a small fee.

We would also greatly appreciate the early return of your child's Medication Authority Form. Receiving a large number of forms on the day of departure can be difficult to manage and increases the likelihood of errors. Forms can be emailed to Health@mmcrc.catholic.edu.au or submitted to your child's homeroom teacher.

Thank you for your support and cooperation in helping us provide a safe and enjoyable camp experience for all students.

Kind regards,

Claire Vagg & Rebecca Carmody

Student Health Officers

Recently a letter was sent home with students, with information on how to order your school photos.  Each student has a unique code allocated by the photographers; this code is recorded on the letter, along with a link to the photographer's website where photos can be viewed and purchased.
