Middle School News

As we conclude another busy and successful term, I would like to thank our students, staff, parents and caregivers for their ongoing support throughout Term 3.

This term has provided many opportunities for students to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. I have been particularly proud of how our students have embraced College life, shown resilience in their learning, and participated positively in the many activities and events across the term. Their efforts and achievements are a credit to themselves and their families.

I would also like to thank parents and caregivers for your partnership in supporting our College expectations. Your assistance in ensuring students arrive at school well-prepared and ready to learn each day plays a significant role in setting them up for success.

As we move into the holiday period, I encourage all students to take the opportunity to rest, recharge and enjoy time with family and friends. Please remember to stay safe, make responsible choices, and continue to demonstrate the values of respect and responsibility that are central to our College community.

Looking ahead to Term 4, students are reminded to prepare for the transition to the summer uniform. Wearing the Salvado Catholic College uniform correctly is an important way of representing our College with pride, whether travelling to and from school, using public transport, or visiting the local community.

A number of important events will take place during the first few weeks of next term, including:

• Year 7 immunisations on Tuesday 13 October and Wednesday 14 October 2026.

• PAT Assessments for Year 7 to 10 students during Weeks 2 and 3 in English and Mathematics classes. Students are to ensure iPads are charged. 

Term 4 is always an exciting and important term as we celebrate achievements, finish the academic year strongly, and prepare students for their next stage of learning. I encourage all students to return with a positive attitude, ready to make the most of every opportunity.
