Work Experience 2026

Important update for families

Work Experience for our Year 10 students will take place from Monday 22 June – Friday 26 June 2026.

This is an exciting milestone for students and a fantastic opportunity to explore future career pathways, build confidence, and gain real-world experience. Many students remember this as one of the highlights of their time at school!

What needs to be done?

To ensure placements can be approved, students need to complete the following by the end of Term 1:

✅ Work Experience Planning Sheet / Information Form

✅ Safe@Work OHS Modules (both General and Industry-Specific)

Once submitted, the official Work Experience paperwork will be sent electronically to students, parents/carers, and employers for digital signing.

How families can help

Your support makes a big difference! Encouraging your child to:

• Reach out to workplaces early
• Follow up on enquiries
• Explore areas they are genuinely interested in can really help them secure a meaningful placement.

Need more time?

If your child is still organising their placement and needs a little extra time beyond the end of Term 1, please get in touch as soon as possible we’re here to help and can discuss an extension if needed.
