School Wide Positive Behaviour System

As previously communicated, this term we have introduced the 2026 Merit Scheme, a system designed to reward individuals and cohorts for their collective efforts in demonstrating our school’s expected behaviours.
It has been wonderful celebrating the positive contributions our students make to our school community by consistently displaying Respect, Achievement, Innovation and Diversity across all areas of school life.
This has culminated in merit awards being presented at year level assemblies in these final weeks of term, some of which included vouchers/prizes, kindly sponsored by Office Barn in Gisborne and the Macedon Trading Post. One mentor group from each year level was also recognised for earning the highest merits with a non-uniform day earlier this week.
We look forward to the merit system continuing to gain momentum in term 2 and driving a positive and supportive culture across GSC.
