Melton City Council

Ultrawild – Author Talk and Design Workshop with Steve Mushin on Saturday 24th August 10.30 am – 1.00 pm at Melton Library and Learning Hub.  This free workshop, for all ages and abilities, will explore creative ideas for designing urban spaces with sustainability in mind.  Steve is a funny, engaging, and passionate presenter and everyone will leave with new ideas and (drawing) skills.  His latest project was the design of the Ceres playground in Brunswick.  Bookings are essential as places are limited- https://libraryevents.melton.vic.gov.au/event?id=81973.  His workshops and book have been very successful in schools, and this is a free opportunity to learn about sustainable design for both teachers and students.  

The 2024 Melton Learning Festival this year is all about Sustainability 😊. All events are free although some do require bookings due to catering and materials.  This is the link - City of Melton Learning Festival Melton City Council. The launch, on Saturday 31st August at Melton Library and Learning Hub will be a a fun family day of free entertainment, music and workshops as well as a display of local sustainable initiatives.
