Visual Art - Indigenous Animals - Year 7 

Our Year 7 cohort have been working with great creativity in the Visual Art Indigenous unit. They research animals that are part of the dreamtime stories and firstly sketched, using various techniques, textured lines, patterns and the connection they have with the animals. The most exciting part was when they transferred the animals on to lino by tracing, then following the lines by carving them into lino. They added a themed background with colour slicks to enhance the lino print. These turned out to be very special as you can see for yourself. 

Arts Expo’24 

Our Annual Art show has rolled around again, the Studio Art year 12’s are working away on their artworks during class, after school and whenever possible. The Media year 12’s are working on their individual films. Music has been practising, writing and putting together their pieces to present.

There will be a presentation to open the show at 4.30pm, food and drinks and the wonderful coffee cart.

Also this year joining us will be Cultural Kaleidoscope: Works by students from diversity Day activities.
