Mountain Bike Orienteering
On the 8th of May the Year 7/8 class went to Nelson to do a mountain bike orienteering course with Great South-West Adventures. The activity was fantastic for building the students teamwork skills as they rode through the forest around Nelson completing orienteering challenges. The students took it in turns in leading the group to solve each task. While they were all fantastic in leading the group, the real challenge was being able to step back and allow others to lead in such a fun activity. The students had a fantastic time and their leader Roman, was excellent. Roman also had an Edenhope connection as his nieces had attended Edenhope College as well.

Woodwork
Will Dubois has been working hard over the past few weeks making hand formed sculpted table legs for his project. Will has a great eye for detail and has exhibited the patience and pride in his work that will do doubt, bring him a fantastic finished piece of furniture.
Shane is also hard at work making a table this term.
