Little Desert Cross Country

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Little Desert Cross Country competition at Nhill recently. Our runners had an awesome day and many have run their way to compete at the Greater Western Region event later in the month. Fantastic effort!

Senior & Intermediate AFL/Netball

On Friday May 17th our Intermediate and Senior AFL and netball teams ventured to Horsham for a day of competition. The football side had a last minute change and combined with Goroke and Balmoral to play against Warracknabeal. Despite a heavy loss the boys played with sportsmanship and didn't drop their heads, always working hard to win the ball. Our Intermediate netballers had a strong day, winning two of their three matches. Again, these girls represented our school with pride and talent on and off the court. In the senior competition we had Maizy join us from Goroke. The girls only had one game against Murtoa for the day and won 66-16! It was a strong game from start to finish and the support and encouragement shown between our own players for each other was wonderful to see. A big well done to the Edenhope College Swans!
