Welcome to another update from the Kaadadjiny Hub!

The past few weeks have been a blur of activity in the hub, with HASS Week activities such as the Lego competition, Guess the Famous Landmark, colouring-in, and identifying the country from pictures. 

The month of June is filled with days dedicated to the environment. 

• World Environment Day - 5 June
• World Oceans Day - 8 June 
• World Rainforest Day - 22 June

Recognising these days in the Hub through a display of information highlights the importance of looking after the world and all its resources. 

What Is The Purpose Of A Picture Book?

Picture books are short simple stories with cute illustrations designed to entertain children. They are helpful in teaching young children to read. Picture books help children to understand the world around them and where they fit into the world. Picture books are a wonderful addition to any home library.
