CHESS TOURNAMENT

Congratulations to five of our chess players who competed in the Victorian Secondary Schools State Chess Final on October 14 at Brighton Grammar:

We came 13th in a highly competitive field of 27 schools. 

The highest individual BSC result for the tournament was Jennifer Morrison, who finished in 22nd place overall with six points from eight rounds. 

Qualifying for a spot in the State Final is an achievement in itself and I want to commend the students for their impressive team work and support of each other on the day.
