FIRST AID/ILLNESS AT SCHOOL

REMINDER | First aid/illness whilst at school

Dear Parents/Carers,

This is a friendly reminder that Brighton Secondary College students are to come to the General Office (where the first aid office) if they're feeling unwell and are not permitted to contact their parents/guardians directly.

If your child is feeling unwell or needs to contact you for any reason they're to follow the below steps:

  • the student is to request a visit to the General Office (first aid office) from their classroom teacher or their relevant student manager if in class.
  • the student will be assessed by the first aid officer who will contact parents/guardians to make appropriate arrangements.

When a parent/guardian arrives, they are to report to the General Office and identify themselves, the General Office will bring the student through.

Compass will be updated by office staff.

At no stage are students leave the college grounds without notifying/signing out at the general office.

Our highest priority is our duty of care to your children, please help us by ensuring your child follows the above procedure.

Thank you,

Brighton Secondary College
