Academic integrity: a shared responsibility

Integrity is a cornerstone of ERIC and an essential part of learning in the Senior School. Academic integrity encourages students to be honest in their work, acknowledge the ideas of others appropriately and take responsibility for their learning.

We recognise that, in 2026, navigating ownership of ideas can be challenging for young people. Social media, online collaboration and the rapid sharing of information can sometimes make it difficult to recognise where appropriate support ends and academic misconduct begins.

The following extract is taken directly from the Senior School Assessment Policy:

"Students should be particularly cautious of collusion. Collusion typically refers to unauthorised collaboration or cooperation between students in completing academic assignments or assessments. It involves working together in a manner that goes against the rules or guidelines set by the educational institution. This can include sharing answers, copying work, or allowing someone else to complete part or all of an assignment on one's behalf. It also includes providing information about a test that has been sat by one student and not another."

Parents and teachers play an important role as positive role models, helping to guide the moral compass of young people as they learn to navigate increasingly complex academic and digital environments. We ask parents to support the College's Senior School Assessment Policy by speaking with their child about these expectations. Teachers will continue to reinforce the policy throughout the term, and we greatly appreciate the partnership of families in helping students develop the habits of honesty, responsibility and integrity that underpin meaningful learning.

Year 12 Personalised WACE exam Timetable

The Year 12 2026 ATAR course examination timetables are available on SCSA website and can be accessed via the button below.

Personalised examination timetables are available through the SCSA Student portal.

Year 11 Semester 2 Exams: 9 November – 20 November

Year 11 Examinations will commence on Monday 9 November.  Students and families are reminded that the morning sessions commence at 8:30am and the afternoon sessions commence at 1:00pm.  Students are expected to be at the examination venue (at the front of L Block) at least 20 minutes prior to the examination start time.  The examination timetable is now available on MyASC.

NEXUS-S for Study

Whilst students are on study break for exams, all are welcome to use Nexus-S as a study facility.  Students are asked to ensure that they are dressed in College uniform and follow the normal grooming guidelines whilst on Campus.  It is requested that students sign in and out of Nexus-S during this period so that the College has a record of who is on site.  During this time, students in Year 11 and 12 may arrive and depart as required.

OLNA - Year 9 & 10 (Select Students Only)

As you are aware to achieve a Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) when completing Year 12 students need to demonstrate that they have met minimum Literacy and Numeracy standards.

Students who are yet to achieve the required level and therefore will need to sit the next round of Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA) scheduled for October this year, communications have been sent directly to the students and families involved.

The following assessments have been scheduled for select students in Years 9–10:

  • Literacy Writing – Monday 26 October, Week 3
  • Literacy Reading – Wednesday 28 October, Week 3
  • Numeracy – Monday 2 November, Week 4

We remind students to arrive promptly ready to start.

We encourage students to engage with the OLNA revision resources available on MyASC in preparation for the upcoming assessments.

National Bullying Framework Update

The Australian Education Ministers have endorsed the new National Framework for Addressing Bullying in Australian Schools, with all schools required to have its expectations embedded within existing policies and procedures by the start of Term 1, 2027. The framework does not introduce new registration standards but strengthens expectations around how schools prevent, respond to, and manage bullying. Schools are being encouraged to review their wellbeing, behaviour management and anti-bullying processes to ensure they align with the nationally agreed approach.

At All Saints’ College, we have already commenced a review of our current Positive Engagement (Anti-bullying) Policy and procedures against the new framework. Our existing practices are strongly aligned with many of the framework’s expectations, and over the coming months we will continue refining our student wellbeing and behaviour management processes to ensure they reflect contemporary best practice and continue to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all students.

Further information about the National Framework can be found via the Australian Government’s anti-bullying resources.

Consent and Respectful Relationships Education (CREE) Pilot Project

As we continue developing a whole-school approach to wellbeing, we invite families to spend a moment reflecting on our new Whole School Wellbeing Statement:

"At All Saints' College, everyone matters. Everyone is known, valued and connected. Together, we support each other to thrive, feel well, and contribute meaningfully to our community."

These words are not just for school life. They speak to the small, everyday interactions that help young people feel secure, valued and capable. As parents, this might look like taking time to listen without immediately solving a problem, celebrating effort as well as achievement, helping children feel connected to family and community, or encouraging them to show kindness and care towards others.

There is no single way to bring this statement to life. We encourage families to reflect on what it means in your own context and to consider how the ideas of being known, valued and connected might shape the conversations, relationships and routines that matter most in your home. Together, we can help our young people not only succeed but truly thrive.
