Learn to Swim

Your Swimming Journey Starts Here – Enrolments Now Open at All Saints Learn to Swim
At All Saints’ College, we believe swimming is a lifelong skill that everyone should have the opportunity to develop, regardless of their age, experience or ability.
With our expanded All Saints' Learn to Swim Program, we now offer swimming lessons for almost every age and ability, from children as young as three years old through to adults. Whether you're entering the water for the very first time, developing your swimming technique or learning essential survival and lifesaving skills, there's a place for you at All Saints'.
And the best part? Enrolments are open all year round, so you can join at any time!
A Swimming Program for Every Age and Ability
Our Learn to Swim program has continued to grow, creating more opportunities for children, teenagers and adults to develop confidence, independence and essential aquatic skills.
Our programs include:
- Preschool Swimming (3–5 years): Our newest program introduces young children to independent swimming through four fun and engaging levels, guided by Arlo the Angelfish, Billy the Blue Tang, Chloe the Cuttlefish and Duke the Dragonet. With a maximum of four swimmers per class, children receive individual attention while developing confidence and early swimming skills.
- School Age Learn to Swim: Following the Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive framework, swimmers progress from fundamental water confidence and swimming skills through to stroke development, endurance and essential water safety.
- Teen and Adolescent Swimming: Designed specifically for older children and teenagers, this program provides an age-appropriate, supportive environment for swimmers to develop their confidence, improve their swimming ability and continue progressing alongside their peers.
- Adult Learn to Swim: It's never too late to learn! Whether you're a complete beginner, looking to overcome a fear of the water or wanting to improve your swimming technique, our adult classes provide a welcoming environment to learn at your own pace.
- Junior Lifeguard Club: For confident swimmers ready for their next challenge, our Junior Lifeguard Club introduces practical survival, rescue and lifesaving skills, providing a pathway towards further lifesaving qualifications.
Across all our programs, water safety remains a central focus, helping swimmers develop not only their swimming ability but also the knowledge and confidence to make safer decisions around water.
Join When You're Ready – No Need to Wait for Next Term!
One of the biggest changes to All Saints Learn to Swim this year has been the introduction of our ongoing enrolment program. Rather than waiting for the beginning of a new school term, families can now enrol whenever they're ready, provided a suitable class is available. Once enrolled, swimmers retain their place in their class, with convenient monthly payments and the flexibility to progress through levels as their skills develop.
This approach provides greater consistency for swimmers, reduces interruptions to learning and removes the need for families to re-enrol every term.
There's no joining fee, no cancellation fee and no need to wait until next term to get started.
Whether you're returning to swimming after a break or joining All Saints' for the first time, we'd love to welcome you to the pool.
Celebrate with Our Preschool Colouring Competition!
To celebrate the launch of our new Preschool Swimming Program, we're inviting our younger All Saints' community members to meet Arlo, Billy, Chloe and Duke through our Preschool Colouring Competition.
Choose your favourite preschool friend, get creative and enter for your chance to win!
Alternatively, families can collect a colouring sheet from the Learn to Swim office at the Aquatic Centre.
Completed entries can be emailed to learntoswim@allsaints.wa.edu.au or dropped off to the Learn to Swim team at the Aquatic Centre on any weekday afternoon. Entries close 31 October 2026.
Ready to Dive In?
Getting started is easy! Families can visit our iClassPro Parent Portal to explore available classes, view lesson times and enrol online.
For swimmers unsure of their appropriate level, our team also offers swimming assessments to help identify the most suitable starting point.
Whether you're three or seventy-three, taking your first steps into the water or working towards advanced swimming and lifesaving skills, All Saints' Learn to Swim has a pathway for you.
We look forward to welcoming new and returning swimmers to the pool and continuing to build a community where everyone has the opportunity to develop confidence, swimming ability and lifelong water safety skills.
