Year 12 Media Students Inspired by Top Designs Exhibition
On Monday the 28th of April, our Year 12 Media class ventured into the city for a special excursion to the Melbourne Museum where they visited the Top Designs exhibition.
This exhibition is an annual showcase of student work from across Victoria, featuring the best selected media productions, design portfolios, visual communication projects and more. It represents the very best of VCE student creativity, skill and innovation and is a highly regarded achievement.
For our Brighton Secondary College students currently working on their own major media productions, the experience was both valuable and inspiring. Seeing the finished products of last year’s top achievers provided a real sense of what is possible and offered practical insight into the level of planning, creativity and technical execution required to excel in their own folios.
Students enjoyed their time exploring the exhibition and taking in the diverse range of ideas and media formats on display. They returned to school with fresh ideas, renewed motivation and hopefully, a clearer vision for their own creative work.
We’re excited to see how this inspiration takes shape in their final projects and look forward to sharing the fruits of their labour with the wider school community later this year. Stay tuned!
