Admin

Welcome back to the 2026 School Year.
Just a few notes from the admin team.
Family Payments
Family payments for Mainstream, Steiner and Garden are available to pay on Compass. There are some options for payment by instalment but please contact the office if you require an individual plan. Payments can be made at the office by eftPos, but Compass is the preferred method.
CSEF Applications
Families who received CSEF in 2025 will not need to re-apply, this will be ‘rolled over’ by the school. If you are new to the school, please contact the office for an application form if you have not already done so. To be eligible for CSEF, you will need to hold either a pension card or health care card valid as at 28th January 2026 (in the parent’s name, not the child). Some foster families may also be eligible, please contact the office if this might apply to you.
Grade 3 / 4 Camp – 30th March to 1st April
The 3/4 camp is also now open for consent and payment on Compass. Just to let you know, it appears that if you have any school savings bonus from 2025, Compass will allow you to choose the CSEF / Credit option. I will be in contact with you if you chose this option but don’t have CSEF.
If you opt to use CSEF / Credits but don’t have the full amount, we’ll allocate what you have for now and adjust the balance in Compass. For those families who are eligible for 2026 CSEF, the amount this year is $400. Please contact Shirley on shirley.brown@education.vic.gov.au to check balances, amounts to pay etc.
Please note that families will still need to consent.
Swimming Carnival – 16th February
If your child has been selected in the TPS swimming team, you can also consent and pay as per the camp above. Any parents willing to help on the day, please email Leigh at leigh.collins@education.vic.gov.au
Late Arrivals / Early Departures
Late Arrivals
If, for any reason, you and/or your child are running late in the morning, please remember to sign them in at the kiosk at the office if they are arriving after 9am. Teachers are required to mark their roll first thing in the morning. You will receive an automated SMS at 10:30am to say your child is absent if they haven’t signed in.
Please say "goodbye" to your child at the office. We ask that you respect the teacher's and their classes' morning routines and do not enter the classrooms after 9am.
Early Pick-Ups
If you need to pick your child up before 3:30pm for an appointment, please try to avoid the following times.
Recess: 11:10 – 11:40am
Lunch 1:50 – 2:30pm
Monday Assembly: 3:00 – 3:30pm
A good time for pick up is during their class eating time which is 10 minutes before they go outside Once children are out in the playground, it is very challenging trying to track them down. Announcements are often not heard, or students may be in the park.
When you come to collect your child early, please come to the office and we will get them for you, so as to minimise class disruption.
Before and After school supervision
Please note that there is no staff on duty in the yard before 8:45am and after 3:45pm
Please book children into TeamKids if you need to drop them off or pick them outside these times.
