Wellbeing Snapshot: Smiling Mind

This term, our school is excited to be introducing Smiling Mind, a wellbeing program designed to support students’ mental health and emotional development. Smiling Mind is designed to help students develop mindfulness skills, manage emotions, and cultivate mental fitness tools to navigate life’s ups and downs.

 

Through regular classroom practice, students will learn simple techniques to notice their thoughts and feelings, manage big emotions, and build self-awareness and emotional regulation skills that support learning and positive relationships. These skills support not only wellbeing, but also engagement and learning across all areas of the curriculum.

 

Families are welcome to explore Smiling Mind at home too, with free resources and activities available through the link below. We look forward to working together to support our students’ wellbeing, both at school and at home.
