Happy 2026 from the Highvale Robotics Club!
After a huge year of competitions last year, one of our robotics teams finished 2nd in Australia and took out the Excellence Award (best overall team in the country) which means we’ve qualified to represent Australia at the VEX Robotics World Championship in St Louis, United States. We’ve had an awesome run from 1st and 2nd place in the Victorian State Championship through to Nationals in Adelaide, and we’re incredibly excited to take that momentum onto the world stage.
We’ve also launched an active GoFundMe fundraiser to help support the trip.

Join the club in Term 2
The Robotics Club is student-driven, with students working in teams to design, build, code, and improve competition robots to compete at schools across Victoria, nationally, and beyond! We start in Term 2, and if you or your young person is keen, we’d love to have them involved.
Key information:
The sign-up fee is approximately $60 (team registration + robot supplies).
Competition fees are approximately $50 per student per event (varies by event and numbers).
Payments and consent will be managed through Compass events.
Meetings usually run at lunchtime (Tues/Wed) and after school on Tuesdays (about 1 hour). Times may shift slightly based on student availability.
We usually attend around five competitions across the year (some may be on weekends).
