Staff Vs Students Netball

On Friday 19 June, students from Years 7–12 took on the very best staff we had to offer, with all teams bringing their talent to the court and proving far more competitive than anyone is willing to admit. Our Year 7-9 students won their game, but the staff came out on top against our Year 10-12 students.

A big thank you to our Year 12 Sports Captain, Eliza - Year 12, for organising a fun lunchtime in the GBC, and to everyone who took to the court.

Year 9 Social

It’s always a lot of fun at the Year 9 Social alongside St Patrick's College, Ballarat. 

After weeks of practice with Eric and Mr Thurgood, students showcased dances such as the Pride of Erin. From dressing up for the occasion to stepping outside their comfort zones, students got involved and made the most of the experience.

A wonderful tradition that continues to bring students together, the Year 9 Social provides a great opportunity to make connections and enjoy a night with friends. We hope everyone had a fantastic evening! 

Year 7 Da Capo Gala

We loved seeing our Year 7 musicians take to the stage at their very first Da Capo Gala over two nights in June, proudly celebrating months of learning and growth, alongside musicians from other year levels.

At Loreto, every Year 7 student learns an instrument as part of their curriculum, supported by weekly group lessons with specialist instrumental tutors.

Performing for family and friends, our students demonstrated just how far they have come since their first day at Loreto, showcasing the growth that comes from challenging themselves to learn an instrument. 

We can't wait to see them perform again at their second gala later this year!
