Learning and Curriculum Primary - Stage 3

Book Week
Our Book Week celebrations began with our annual Bookmark Competition. The following students created outstanding artwork: Coby L, Francis K, Karson C, Liam V, Thomas G and Timothy Y. Their bookmarks will be reproduced for use in the Westcourt library. Which one will you choose?
Next was the Book Parade, with the theme of ‘Symphony of Stories’, the students created some amazing costumes. The riot of colour, the characters, the music, the audience, all contributed to generating an exciting atmosphere on the back oval. The level of enthusiasm and participation was phenomenal, one of the best parades ever! Highly commended students will receive a book by Mark Greenwood, our visiting author this year. Highly Commended students were Paul W, Lucas Y, Lucas C, Jude L, Max D, Levi M, Jonathan M, Miller L, Alsonso A, Alexander P, Oliver I, Alessio L, Arthur G and Phoenix P.
Book Week was a smashing success, and remember every week is better with a good book!
