Rolled Food PBL

Our Year 7 Innovate students have been busy in the kitchen designing and creating their own rolled food items, working either individually or in pairs. 

 

Throughout this Project Based Learning unit, students progressed through key phases of inquiry, creation and showcase. They developed an understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene, explored equipment and cooking techniques, and learned how to plan and adapt recipes.

 

In the final stage, students applied their knowledge to design, prepare and evaluate their dish, considering both the function of ingredients and the sensory qualities of their finished product.
