NAPLAN Online 2026 – test dates

Students in Years 7 and 9 will sit the NAPLAN online tests between Wednesday 11 March and Monday 17 March 2026. Please ensure your student has PLUG IN earphones for the tests. These can be purchased inexpensively at stores such as K-Mart. Bluetooth earphones, such as airpods are not suitable, as students may have difficulty connecting them and cause delays to all students sitting the tests. 

The online test schedule at Caroline Chisholm College is as follows: 

Final catch-up sessions will be run on Tuesday 17 March, to enable students who are absent to sit the tests.

Equipment and preparation for the tests

All students will require PLUG IN earphones for the tests.

The NAPLAN locked-down browser will been installed on student laptops. We will check that the browser is installed and functioning during lessons at school.

These tests should not be a source of concern for students or parents. English teachers will familiarise Year 7 students with NAPLAN browser tools and students will be able to practise using the tools at home. All students can see the types of questions and tools available in the online NAPLAN assessments at the public demonstration site.
