Enhancing Catholic School Identity - QuickScan Survey
From 2026, all schools within Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) will participate in the Quickscan Survey, designed to gather feedback on how the Catholic identity of our school is experienced and expressed. The survey, developed in partnership with KU Leuven, includes 26 short, anonymous questions and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Insights from the survey help inform mission-focused practices and our annual School Improvement Plan.
Over the coming weeks, students in Years 7–12, staff and parents/carers at Caroline Chisholm College are invited to participate. We strongly encourage all families, from both religious and non-religious backgrounds to share their perspectives.
Information was sent home on Monday 23 February. We kindly ask parents and carers to complete the survey by Sunday 26 April.

Thank you for your valued support.
Religious Education Year 7 -10
This term, students in Year 7 -Year 10 are engaging in their learning in Religious Education through the Encountering Jesus curriculum. We recognise that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for children to flourish in all aspects of their learning. As parents and carers, you are the first educators of your children, and we are grateful for the role you play in nurturing their faith.
To support this partnership, Parent Support Information has been provided which outlines the Religious Education Learning Cycles for this term. This resource includes an overview of the Learning Outcomes, Core Scripture, and some suggestions for engagement at home to support your child’s learning and faith development.
We hope this information is helpful as, together, we nurture your child as they grow in faith and deepen their understanding of what it means to live as a follower of Jesus.
Year 7 - 4.1 Are belonging and identity important?
Year 8 - 4.5 Why be an advocate?
Year 10 - 5.5 How do I recognise an authentic relationship?
Ash Wednesday Liturgies
On Ash Wednesday last week, year groups gathered in our College Chapel to celebrate Ash Wednesday through prayerful liturgies, marking the beginning of the Lenten season. During these liturgies, students were invited to consider meaningful ways they can prepare their hearts for Easter throughout Lent, by growing in compassion, seeking forgiveness, and supporting those in need. The reverent participation of students created a prayerful atmosphere, providing a valuable opportunity for quiet reflection as we begin this important season together.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ms Morley, Assistant Leader of Religious Education, the Year Leaders, and the students who led these services with such care and reverence.
As a College community, we also launch Project Compassion 2026 with the theme Unite Against Poverty. This theme resonates deeply with the teachings of Jesus, who showed great care for the poor and marginalised. In Matthew 25, Jesus reminds us of our call to serve others:
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”
Catechist Program Commences at Glenmore Park Primary School
On Thursday 26 February, six of our Year 10 and Year 11 Special Religious Education (SRE) students began their ministry as Catechists at Glenmore Park Primary School.
Each week, our students will work alongside volunteer SRE teachers from St Padre Pio Parish Glenmore Park to deliver engaging faith-based lessons to Kindergarten, Year 1, and Year 2 classes. This outreach provides a valuable opportunity for our students to live out their faith through service, while supporting younger students in their understanding of Scripture, prayer, and Catholic values.
We thank our SRE students for their commitment to this important ministry and wish them every blessing as they share their faith with the younger members of our wider community.
