Foundation PE
Foundation students have been hard at work all term learning and developing their fundamental movement skills (FMS). For the last 2 weeks and into this week, we have been working on our jumping skills. It is important to remember that both feet must leave the ground and land at the same time.
You can support your child's development of these skills by creating an obstacle course with your child and watching their jumps. The Floor is Lava is a great game to support this development. We have been practising jumps forwards, backwards, side to side and even diagonally.
