School Wide Positive Behaviour Supports - SWPBS

At Wedderburn College we have 27 expected behaviours under our values of RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY & RESILIENCE.
For every positive behaviour demonstrated, students have the opportunity to:
- Receive green chronicles on compass - worth 5 burn bucks.
- Receive a Gotcha card for demonstrating one of our focus behaviours – worth 15 burn bucks.
- Receive an upstander card for demonstrating strength in standing up for others – worth 30 burn bucks.
Positives
- 32 – The number of school days so far this year.
- 404 – The number of green chronicles recorded so far this year for: Always complete all classwork and homework.
- 12 – The number of green chronicles averaged per day for: Always complete classwork and homework
Below are some examples of students demonstrating this behaviour in the classroom.
When students fall short of an expected behaviour – reminders, prompts and yellow or red chronicles are given out.
Focus Areas:
- 70 – The number of yellow chronicles recorded so far this year for: Did not arrive on time ready to learn.
Forgetting materials, being late for class, displaying poor attitude and behaviour all disrupt learning. By focussing on being better at arriving on time ready to learn, leaves more opportunity for us to always complete classwork and homework.
Make this a focus as we move into the last few weeks of term 1!!
