Hi all

With approval from our School Council we have ‘tweaked’ our uniform policy. Please read carefully and pay careful attention to the underlined sections.  This will take effect on Monday of Term 2.

 

Wedderburn P-12 College: Uniform & Appearance Guide

Belonging • Safety • Identity

The Uniform: Students may choose any combination of the following navy-based items.

Upper Body (With School Logo)

  • Tops: Navy long or short sleeve polo with gold piping.
  • Outerwear: Champion jacket, Padded vest, or Polar fleece (vest/jacket/half-zip).
  • Year 12: Official VCE jumper.  Year 6/Year 9: Special Polo

 

Lower Body (Plain Navy)

  • Options: Tracksuit pants (microfibre preferred), drill shorts, skort, or school dress.
  • Note: Plain navy tights or tracksuit pants may be worn under dresses/skorts for warmth or modesty.
  • Shorts to be appropriate length longer than mid-thigh as per sun smart policy. 
  • No bike shorts or leggings permitted. 

 

Footwear & Socks

  • Daily: Supportive runners or sneakers (predominantly one colour) with navy socks.
  • Safety: Protective boots/shoes are required for Science, NCTTC and Tech classes (OHS).

 

 Accessories & Grooming

  • Sun Safety: Navy broad-brimmed or bucket hat with logo (Terms 1 & 4).
  • Winter: Navy beanie with school logo (Terms 2 & 3).
  • Hair: For safety, hair below shoulder length must be tied back. Use navy, gold, or burgundy clips/ribbons.
  • All undergarments that are visible need to be navy blue.
  • Cultural Expression: Head coverings for religious or cultural reasons are welcome in any colour.

  • Support: If you need assistance with uniform costs, please contact the Wellbeing Team. We proudly partner with State Schools’ Relief to support our families.

 

School Council will review the cost and availability of uniform items annually to ensure the requirements remain accessible to all families in our community.
