SSWA Secondary School Triathlon – Champion Lakes
On Thursday, 6 November, Mazenod College students competed in the SSWA Secondary School Triathlon held at Champion Lakes. It was a fantastic day of competition, teamwork, and determination, with students showcasing their endurance across swimming, cycling, and running events.
In the individual category, Ryan A delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 3rd overall in a highly competitive field — a remarkable achievement that reflects his hard work and dedication to training. Mazenod was also strongly represented in the relay events, with several teams performing exceptionally well and narrowly missing out on podium finishes. Their teamwork and spirit were evident throughout the day, and all competitors should be proud of their efforts.
A big thank you goes to Mr Walczak and Mr Mason for their organisation, supervision, and encouragement on the day. We also extend our appreciation to the parents who came along to support the students — your presence and enthusiasm made a real difference.
Congratulations to all our triathletes for representing Mazenod College with pride and commitment at this state-level event.
